Why suffer Waer retention?
Question:
I have been suffering from water retention for a long time. I feel as if my whole body is swollen, especially my legs, which are always puffy and blotchy. At night one leg appears black. If I drink water at night I just went to the bathroom six or seven times. I also find it difficult to lose weight.
Answer:
It appears that you have a combination of water retention and venous (In relation to the veins) of congestion. The cause of his leg is dark at night is likely that the poor circulation blood, leading to stagnation in the foot. If the blood is deprived of oxygen (ie, stagnant), changes color from red to purple or black. Your doctor should be consulted for research if you have a clot in the veins or deep vein thrombosis. Meanwhile, follow the general treatment that outline below for water retention, which will encourage nature to heal your body. Also, to improve circulation, gently massage your legs, starting at the ankle and moving up to the thigh, for ten minutes every other day, walking and yoga (see below) every day.
A common cause of water retention is that the kidneys not working properly. Swelling in the feet and legs, usually accompanied by one side of pastry, which is worse in the morning, then gradually eases as circulation improves throughout the day. Swelling of the feet and legs may also be due to poor circulation of lymph (part of the self-cleaning mechanism the body). This disappears at night when lying down, or with legs slightly raised. Lymphatic complications are usually on one side, however. Varicose veins affecting the blood circulation can also cause swelling in your feet, but again, this is often only on the side where veins are affected.
Another possibility is a malfunction of the heart that leads to the blood that is pumped very slowly from the lower extremities. This leads to "Flooding" in the feet and swelling in the feet and ankles. The weaker the heart, rather than co inflammation in heart failure chronic swelling can increase the thighs.
However, a large percentage of people suffering from water retention due to dehydration. In pituitary gland in the brain, there is a section that produces antidiuretic hormone (ADH), which literally means' stop the production of hormones urine. If the body is dehydrated, it is stopping production of urine and generally retain water to prevent further loss of fluids. Even leaving sweating, but the hot weather.
Sometimes the trigger lack of blood flow to the pituitary gland due to an inadequate supply of the vertebral arteries in the neck. Tight neck muscles, affecting blood flow are usually the result of physical trauma such as whiplash, falls, birth injuries, as well as stress and stiffness in the neck due to long hours of driving or on the computer. If the pituitary gland receives its blood supply that is not complete ADH center, and this is interpreted as lack of fluids or dehydration. So the center of the ADH mistakenly decides he must stay in the water, the kidneys stop to make urine and feet swell. Inflammation occurs much or how little water you drink because it is dependent on the hormone ADH, not water intake. At night, the blood flow to increases in the pituitary gland (because you are horizontal) and the center of the ADH records and leave enough liquid to produce DHA, so moving the water several times.
It is important that you go to an expert for research, but my feeling is that his condition may be due to a problem in your pituitary gland, together with their kidneys not working properly.
Here are my suggestions
* Avoid foods that are high in protein, because they put too much of a burden on the kidneys, eggs eat fish and chicken in moderation, with plenty of fruit and vegetables, all organic if possible.
* Check with your doctor to see if a medication you are taking is affecting your kidneys, which should appear on a blood test-
* All day, drink three cups of tea Gokhru, Ayuruedic preparation that helps retain water, or drink three cups of nettle tea daily for three months.
* Take Chandraprabha Vati, another product Ayurvedic for the retention of water: one a day for two months.
* Massage the neck and shoulders with the lifestyle of massage oil to relieve stress in this area and blood to improve the way of the pituitary gland. Do this every other night before bed for two months.
* Practice yoga, in particular ship and the child poses to improve circulation in the limbs, and the cobra, half-bridge and the turtle poses to relieve pressure on his neck. This is explained in my Therapeutic Yoga book (co-written with Jiwan Brar).
