How much alcohol to lower blood pressure?
I have a doctor with the army coming up soon and I'm worried about my blood pressure is too high. I just read that alcohol is a vasodilator and has the potential to reduce blood pressure. My question is how much alcohol should I take and for how time before my evaluation I take to help lower my blood pressure? Is there a particular type or brand of alcohol that is more effective? My reading of the pressure arterial happened to my family doctor was 160/90 and I am a teetotaler at any time. Any useful information would be greatly appreciated.
Unfortunately, is not that simple, and although I do not like to say, "you're a loser from the start. If it were as easy as that then, of course, everyone has known for a long time and done for not only the army to deceive, but officials in all situations ... If you were not a teetotaler would recommend (as I physically) to perform the experiment itself in advance, because it is a shining example of how the human cardiovascular system. Sit with a store of any beverage of choice - (wine is good or champagne ?,... but no matter faster than whiskey,-doesn ') and constantly keep taking your blood pressure and pulse every 15 minutes or something so, while constantly drinking, and recording the results on a sheet of paper. Very funny, really, except that you would find that, although he managed to lower systolic blood pressure enough to get through his medical BP, which inevitably had an error in your pulse .. rate as well as sober .. ! However ....... there are ways to help yourself step, and these are: - (a) ensure that your test is at the lowest point in their circadian rhythm, morning, before noon. (2) make sure NOT to do their final test in the afternoon. Is high, (3). Do not take your test after a meal .. any meal. (4) Stop eating, Once you've had your dinner last night. No food late, breakfast, morning snacks without lids, - and enters the test of "starvation mode '. You should drink - (water, juice, milk, but not stimulants such as coffee or tea). Your entire metabolism is put into conservation and BP and lower pulse sharply (5). immediately before the test, if you can, close your eyes, sit back and relax mentally to his best ability. Amble to the doctor and his clinic, do not jump and run with enthusiasm .. Conserve energy, reduce stress. I wish him well.
