High blood pressure can be affected by seasonal variations

People should be aware of the possibility that your blood pressure may be more difficult for them to control in winter than it is for them to control that during the summer.

The information supporting this theory has emerged from a five-year study carried out recently in U.S. military veterans suffering from hypertension or high blood pressure.

There may be a connection between increase in body weight and corresponding increase in blood pressure, but this could be a complete Way too simplistic view of things.

Results Supporters of this theory have been published in a study in the United States recently, and the report on U.S. military veterans suffering from hypertension or blood pressure high in 15 cities. The study covered a period of five years and covered with cities as distant as Anchorage, Alaska in the north and San Juan in Puerto Rico in the south.

In general it was found that about 60% of patients in this study had a significant change in blood pressure control in the winter.
