Pregnancy Induced Hypertension Labs

Gestational hypertension - Do you think I will rest in bed?

Throughout this whole pregnancy, I was the fight against hypertension. Fortunately, I've never had any symptoms suggestive of preeclampsia (protein in urine, blurred vision, excessive swelling, etc..) At the meeting yesterday, my blood pressure blood was extremely high (160/80) so that the doctor sent me to the lab for blood tests. She told me to "take it easy" at home and return in two days so you can check blood pressure again. She said she may want to put me on bed rest. I got a call today that all tests blood were normal (thank God). Now I wonder if - if my blood pressure is high when I go in the future, will I still resting in bed? I know who are not doctors, I wonder if anyone has had experience with this. Note, I have not received a diagnosis of pre-eclampsia, because I have no other symptoms - the high blood pressure. Oh - I'm 33 weeks today, if that makes a difference. Thank you very much!

if the pressure is still high tomorrow may put at rest bed, bed rest may be the change that is fair, you can reach the d. room, do something for yourself to eat or drink, you can sit, but to have time in bed all the day is not so bad especially your already 33 weeks. best of themselves before entering the Univ of a month or so early to get involved because the pressure is too high. hang your almost done. Pressure High blood pressure during pregnancy can be dangerous for you and your baby to take it easy.
