Primary Pulmonary Hypertension Medications

What are the effects of a drug for diabetes (glilmiperide) when you have diabetes?

My doctor contractor has begun to treat with medications for diabetes five years ago. Since then I've become a lot worse ... congestive heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, chest pain, hypothyroidism, depression. Then I had a mild heart attack. It is a medicine have caused this? What are the effects of this drug to my endocrine system? Thank you.

Google: "sulfonylureas. All could have been aggravated by glimepiride (a sulphonylurea), but the main cause is more likely to diet and lack of exercise. My question is, if you do not have diabetes, why in hell is the doctor who prescribes a drug that reduces blood sugar diabetes? Sorry for the survey of this type, but your question does not make much sense. You can still have a chance to improve their health.
